[OLUG] dd

I'm not sure what's wrong,my windows partition (hda1) is only 672 mb and
my /usr partition (where I'm trying to dd to) is 1.7 gb yet when I dd
if=/dev/hda1 of=/usr/bin/win_install it runs for a few minutes then
tells me theres no space left on the device.What might I be doing wrong?
