You are right about that -- 4.1 is supposed to be a little more stable, a
little more secure, etc. We've been running 4.0 on our development machine
in our office for several months (and I use it at home both for my primary
workstation and for my NAT/router machine on my cable modem).

I don't know what's on the other CDs, but I'm sure it's not anything
terribly important (but maybe useful or convenient).
