[olug] Adaptec 1542

Alright, I went to the monthly computer show this morning and picked up
an old Adaptec 1542CF for $5.  Now, this is an ISA card, but has the
advantage of having a BIOS, meaning that if I hooked a drive to it, it
would be bootable.

Now, heres my question.  Is an ISA card suitable for burning CDs?  My
burner is a Yamaha 6416.  I dont intend to replace my current 2930, but
since this is going to be my backup, Id like to know.
