[OLUG] Help! I'm trapped in kde!

I know for a fact that it is there because I used it for a while on my SuSE 6.3 machine.

What you want to install out of there is the package called 
"gncore    GNOME Base package".  Install that, and auto-select all of it's dependent packages
(gotta love YaST) and go for it.  And no, there is more in that option then just the GNOME
libraries.  If you look, besides having the GNOME Base, it has a bunch of GNOME apps.
