Have you _ever_ gotten ping to work while using Linux?  Have you _ever_
been able to ping the "other side" of your PPP connection and get an
answer back?  You said you reached the OLUG Web page once by using the
IP address; does this mean we have an intermittent problem here,
folks?

Are you bringing the aliling box to the meeting?
