[OLUG] [OT] Java

I have The Java Tutorial, Second Edition by SunSoft.  I have found it to
be a very good start for me personally.  It assumes you have at least some
programming experience, but is helpful for even a novice programmer.  For
the more experienced programmer, it gets into Swing, and things like
exception handling, network programming, Threading, and Applets.  I also
have the O'reilly Java in a nutshell, which would work better for an
experienced programmer.  If you're in Lincoln, your welcome to borrow
either of them for a few weeks to see if they meet your needs.  They most
likely will sit on my shelf anyway until I have an itch I can't scratch
with Perl :-)
