[olug] samba question

I lost my smb.conf during a re-install and I'm working on creating a new
one to provide my winbox with printer and share access.  If I remember
correctly I was rebooting windows with ea change to smb.conf.  Is this
necessary?  Or is there a command to make window reevaluate it's network
peers?
