Oh no you don't! Just cause I'm curious about something deosn't mean I can
present on it.
How's your ADSL connection? How about we set up a hack lab in your
basement? Well bring in a bunch of computers and set them up to attack
and resist attacks. I have at least one machine I can donate to the
effort. If we set up the machines to use the serial console, then set
up one terminal server machine (can anyone spare one?) to serve as
console for them all, and use boot-off-LAN ether cards so we don't need
media to boot the puppies up, we can work on the series of machines
without human intervention. We can set up VPNs, firewalls, network
scanners, etc. on real machines all without having to visit them.
Sound good?
(Note that we won't attack anyone's computers but our own, and I suppose Paul
would want his main machine to be off limits.)
