[OLUG] color options for ls --color

Hello, 
Sorry if out of topic. I am using 'ls' gnu command under IRIX6.5
system. How can I assign color options for 'ls --color' command? Now,
all directories, links, and executables have the same color (yellow),
pure files are in white. I am using "winterm" sgi color terminal, and I am
not sure whether it support more colors than two (white and yellow, plus
blue background). Since --color argument works fine under my Linux boxes,
I wasn't interested in assigning another color options.
