Hi I am new to the group. I just set up Samba on my computer at home and it
works great. You can share any linux drives or directories. You can also
share any resources as well I have my printer and a burner and CD-ROMs on my
Linux box shared with my win box and my wives. Once you set up Samba on
linux, all you have to do are set up the smb.conf file in etc, when you go
to net hood it will show the box. If you are using win98 or nt4 you will
either need to shut off encrypted passwords on your win box or use encrypted
pass words for the samba login.

What version of Samba are you using? Do I have to use the
development
branch code to get this feature?
