Another idea I had... during the meetings, we could reserve 30 minute or so for
"newbie time".  Inside of covering topics a newbie would consider advanced, we talk
about something simple. Example: a few months ago we talked about programming with
PHP.  We could have started with something simple, like "making mp3s in linux" for the
newbies.  Sides, most of us will learn stuff too.
