I own the high ground at this location:
1603 Farnam Street
41.15.435 north
95.56.253 west
1340ft elevation.
I haven't spent much time eyeballing the north west since I figured
the bulk of interest would start with Garrity's idea and spread from
there.
Walk outside, look at the Woodmen, then turn your eyes one block south
- do you see a faded First National Bank sign on a building? If so
you're in luck ...
I've got 3 meg into the building now, 4.5 as soon as I can convince
sprint that ip cef won't work when my third T1 terminates in a different
router than the first two, and there are some loose 2.4 gig antennas
around. I was planning on adding a Cisco Aironet BR352 with a Yagi
pointing down at Garrity's place - the other side of that could feed
some sort of other antenna.
We'll have to talk ...
