[olug] The NNTP Cox at Hell limitation problem

Do not hope for a second that it will go away - the unsympathetic Cox tech non support fellow also informed me that Cox would have a similar, if not the same sort of cap on NNTP. This was just after he tried to accuse me of running a server, "which we are not supposed to do" bla bla bla. Real nice of him to throw unsubstantiated accusations, and then insult me by trying to push me to get Cox at Work service!

Let me further elaborate on some questions then:
What other "broadband" access do my fellow OLUG users have in the Omahell area, and do they have this same limitation (and is it enforced)?

You mentioned pay for nntp access - some sort of subscriber access? Does any one have any experience with these that  they would be willing to share?

Since I am looking at moving my NNTP experience to the Linux platform - what NNTP clients are you using out there for single & multi post newsgroups?
