Well, Im going to declare an official winner in the OLUG logo contest...
dbw's logo-3b.gif entry was the best.

However, a few issues:

1.  Can we, in proper Richard Stallman fashion, convert this to JPG or
PNG?
2.  dbw: do you have any restrictions on using the logo? Or can I just
go ahead and plater it as is all over tshirts, sweatshirts, etc? (also,
if you have a bigger version, can you send it to me personally)?
