[olug] dd --- the coolest utility ever

Dear Chris,

In light of the other responses that you've gotten to your question, I
just want to emphasize again that you do NOT have to do something
complicated like resizing an ext2 partition.  You don't need to copy the
lowest level information such as you would with dd.  A simple "cp -a"
works just fine.  Please read the Hard Disk Upgrade HOWTO before trying
something extreme like ext2resize.
