[olug] network problem

Hi all:

I know this is late but fetchmail has been giving me only partial
fetches. I just found out. The solution is:

A look at ifconfig shows nothing was transmitted TX packets: 0 and
nothing recieved RX packets: 0 which indicates the possiblity of a
mis-initialized driver. eth1 is a legacy isa ne2000 and requires
that the bios be set to PNP OS off and the interrupt in question be
set to legacy instead of PCI/PNP. I am glad to say that box 2(dos)
is on the net through box 1(linux) using iptables and have installed
samba.
