[olug] ftp

I'm doing something wrong ... I think i'm not putting the right stuff in
the right places.
I'm using gFTP .   I've tried a lot of windows ftp with the same
results.  I alway get something 
like 'cannot connect to remote site'.  I think i'm not putting the right
stuff in the host slot but i've tried everything 
I know of.  What i'm trying to do is transfer files with ftp to my web
page site on @home.  I can get it done with 
their file manager but that is slow and tedious.  Any suggestions would
be appreciated.
