Angela...
If you have a Windows Boot Disk (A Windows 98 Boot Disk would work better, has CD-ROM support). Boot to the Boot Disk and tell it to format the hard drive (ie Format C:). Then from there, once the formatting is complete then.. reinstall Windows 95. Make sure you have all of your Device Driver disks, etc. This can be quite the cumbersome process.. so make sure you are prepared. This will wipe everything out on the HD, so be aware of that. Then just run the setup from a DOS command prompt to run the CD. Then your off. Good Luck.

Subject: [olug] Corel Linux Reformat
Hi,
Does anyone know of a way I can reformat my Corel Linux box back to
Windows95? (Normally I wouldn't do this, but I don't think my 90 year-old
grandfather is ready for Linux!). There is a DOS prompt option on startup,
but if you choose that option, it just says "non-system disk error, press
any key when ready" and goes back to the menu. Since I can't even get into
DOS, I can't begin to imagine how I would do a reformat. (It's a Pentium 75
with 48 MB of RAM).
Thanks,
Angela
