Bob Mould is infamous with his involvement with a band from Minneapolis called Husker Du. He later stared his own band called Sugar, now just called “Bob mould”. I would say that his work with Husker Du is similar music wise with the Dead Kennedys; but I am not aware of his activist/free speech position or involvement. Chris or Phil may be able to fill us in on that aspect - Gentlemen?

Summary: his earlier work is similar music wise to DK, but all around he is a good artist, IMHO. ;-]
