[olug] apt-get on rh7.3

Anybody using apt-get on RH7.3?


Did a fresh install of RH7.3. When out to freshrpms.net and pulled down
apt-get <version 0.3.19cnc55> and installed it.

verified sources.list

apt-get update

apt-get upgrade

installed 43 packages

left 2 to be done manaully

apt-get install xine

apt-get install ghostscript

done.

So what is the differnce between this a RH up2date package?

I notice that with RH up2date it will upgrade kernels if you want to.
