I can use my Fujifilm Finepix 2300 in linux just fine, mounting it as a
fat32 partition/drive.  I had enabled most all of the usb stuff in my
kernel, but I still had to 'modprobe usb-storage', how is this different
than 'insmod usb-storage'?

to get my pics of my camera...
1 plug in usb cable to computer and camera, turn camera on
2 #modprobe usb-storage
3 #mount -t vfat /dev/sda1 /mnt/camera
4 cd /mnt/camera/...

so thats nice. :)
