Personally I like Lycoris a lot.  It focuses on giving me a working
installation with a minimum of post-install tweaking to get some work done.

Looking for some opinions, and I know this is likely a FAQ.

Just curious what distros people use and why?  I'm thinking of trying out a
new distro (I'm relatively new to Linux and have been running Lycoris for
about 4 months now), but it's hard to figure out the pros and cons of any
given package.
