I would like to devote ctrl-alt-F3 to tail -f /var/named/named.run

and ctrl-alt-F4 to tail -f /var/log/messages.  How does one do this?

Would like it to be there upon reboots, etc.  

And while where on the subject can a person change the standard 80 x 25
character mode so that is bigger? Kinda silly on a 19" monitor.  Be nice
to dial it out if possible.
