[olug] /etc/resolv.conf entries

On my laptop running RH 7.3 it has this very very annoying tendency to
revert to the original name-servers in very first install.

I have now created a  new dns server which I would like to use. I change
the entries in /etc/resolv.conf to reflect accordingly. OK good.

but sometimes if it can find a dns server (for what ever reason ) it
will revert back my original settings. Pissin' me off here.

I deleted the the backup copies of resolv.conf.sv and any others but it
still does it.

Any ideas?
