Have you done an lsmod to see if the NIC card modules are loading, Im
guessing they are if you see the 3c59x driver.
THis driver is appropriate for the 3c90x family of cards.

Yes i have mike. But never with dhcp. The windows card I use (smc ultra)
has
never worked in linux and the 3com card has never worked in windows.
