cdrecord -scanbus finds my cd writer and says its at 0,0,0.  I did start 
another CD this morning before I left for work without the -dao tag, but it 
didn't really seem to be going any faster.  I ran 'date' after I started it 
so I should be able to tell how long it took when I get home.
