Yes and no.....

The Cisco Catalyst 19xx is a switch, so it does not perform exactly like a "hub"

However, If what you are wanting to do is simply extend an existing bridged ( hubs ) 
network, which it sounds like what you are wanting to do, it will work just fine. 
The only caveat would be that all the ports need to be in the same VLAN, and
the connection you make to your existing hub is a cross-over cable.
