SuSE can be downloaded and burned to CD for free.
Lindows (name like
Windows, web site like Apple) is a commercial product
that you have to
purchase for $129 (includes StarOffice). Xandros is
also for purchase
at $99.
I got Suse 8.1 but it is a demo
Xandros and Lindows i know they are sold like you said
but i just want test drive them to see it is good
enough or not with out cash out lay . I think Houston
should have went Star Office or somthing they can save
locally (your right i would not want to be at help on
