Check the archives and unsubscribe yourself now. We already had this 
discussion and people like you and I lost the vote. I agree with you 100%. 
Spam is not about content, it's about consent. I signed up for olug, not "Unix 
Tips" many of which have been of questionable value and though the claim was 
that they spark discussion, most of the discussion has been about whether or 
not the list itself should be subscribed to another list.
