[olug] large files

Okay, so how come I just made a 3gb file with dd?

adam at riff:/tmp$ ls -l test
-rw-r--r--    1 adam     users    3252682752 Mar 22 11:56 test

To test this further, I created a 3gb video file (with the huffyuv
codec--always a good choice when you've got too much free space ;)

I can access the file just fine.
