Here's a fun solution.  If you want quiet, check into the water cooling
kits.

You can quiet down the CPU fan by getting a fan/heatsink with a 80MM
fan 
attached or pick up a 60mm to 80mm fan adapter - this helped to quiet
down 
my tower system.  The 80mm fan will move about the same amount of air,

but spins at a lower RPM.  I'm going to do the same for my MythTV box 
someday (Maybe even at InfoTec as a demo).
