[olug] Novell being bought?? Hints abound

Rumors like this reach far back into the '90's.  Back
then, the buzz was IBM or Microsoft wanted to buy
Novell.  

Interestingly enough, those rumors revolved around
some of Novell's big moves: the purchase and sale of
the master Unix kernel (they bought it from AT&T and
sold it to SCO), and the purchase and sale of Quattro
Pro Spreadsheet, Paradox Dataase and WordPerfect (that
suite was sold to Corel).

For now, I will file this under the category of
Recycled Rumors.
