[olug] Two SuSe Linux 9.1 Questions

1)  If you've followed my travails with trying to get
printers to work using CUPS...situation is still the
same.  NOT WORKING.

The SuSe site has the following information:

Lexmark printers are problematic.  Already knew that.

HP DeskJet 842C has a "-" in the Version 9.1 column.
Epson Stylus Color 440 also has a "-" in the Version
9.1 column.

Both seem to work under some version of 8.x


Would purchasing and installing any other type of
printer (Hopefully inexpensive) that meets 9.1's
specifications work?  Would LinuxPrinting.org have
that information?

2)  I'm having dcopserver problems in three User
accounts.  Is this easliy fixed?
