[olug] Hardware problems on an HP desktop

Bill, thanks for laying that all out.
Can I just pull a power supply from an older box I have laying around? Are
there any kinds of incompatibility issues I need to be aware of between older
and newer PS? I guess I should take a look to make sure an older PS has all
the right connections...
