I have been putting way too much time into building a debian machine, 
sorta fun.

What I need are some answers installing the Linuz IA32 video 1.0.5336 
and the nForce drivers 1.0-0261.

Each time I have installed debian (net install) I apt the new kernel, 
headers and source and then run the nvidia script which returns

gcc-version-check failed:
Could not compile gcc-version-check.c

Following the nForce install after tar I get a make error

I am running the 2.6.5-1-k7 kernel but have seen the same results with 
the 2.4.25 kernel
