The Start Here Icon works like the Start button on a Windows XP Pro/Home
system.
Fedora Core 2 and Fedora Core 3 Test 1 both have the Start Here Icon and it
works.
I run MySQL, Apache, and PHP on Fedora Core 2.
PHP (insert Database Here) Admin is an add-on package you can add to any
system after PHP is installed.
I will test the latest release on Fedora Core 2 and get back to you.

Mike,
Here are the properties of the "Start Here" icon Permisions checked are
Owner read write exec, Group read, others read.
testview is -rwxr--r-- , owner is francis and group is francis.
Location is /home/francis/.gnome-desktop. I got to these properties by
right click on the icon.
I did not switch to fedora because I have been trying to learn something
about Mysql, Apache, and php. Also I have phpadmin installed on this
system. I have been concerned if I change over to fedora my current set up
will not work correctly. Cold feet I guess. If I change over to fedora
will the apps I listed be supported with out having problems? I suspect if
I make the change to fedora, then the start here Icon problem will go away.
