I got it up and running very well on Ubuntu 5.x using synaptic, could also
use apt. The packages are at
http://soulmachine.net/debian/unstable/
for anyone else who'd like to try the best looking desktop on the planet.

Has anyone tried getting E17 to work yet? I just got it working on my
SuSE 9.3 setup, and I've only had e crash on me four times in 24 hours.
Not bad for an alpha.
