I switched from Suse 9.something to Ubuntu 4.10 precisely *because* the
removable media support in the brown distro works out-of-the-box for
non-root users.  CD-ROM, Floppy, USB - they all work as advertised.
Heck, now I can even burn a CD without seeking help from a teenager!
