[olug] Kubuntu Questions

I finally got Kubuntu 5.10 (Breezy Badger) to work
with every account so they have sound and can access
external drives.  Setting up Flash was no problem
either.

A couple of things:

1)  My daughter goes to this site:

www.pollypocket.com then to everythinggirl.com where
she cannot login. I'm using Mozilla Firefox 1.0.8 
I've downloaded Firefox 1.5.0.4, untarred it and now I
want update firefox.  The site does state that it uses
the LATEST(NEWEST) version of Flash

a.)  Will this help her use this site?
b.)  Where do I put it for global use?

2.)  I want to use a personal checkbook program.  I
found Gnucash on the Kubuntu CD but cannot find it in
the list of files even though Synaptic claims that it
is installed.  How can I access it OR are there other
options like so much of linux?
