[olug] K3B works to create an ISO image BUT gives errors when creating other CD's

I have gone from Auto to 24x, 16x, 12x and 8x with the
same results.  I haven't tried anything lower OR tried
the following yet:

The only issue I noticed from the dump you previously
sent was this:

/usr/bin/X11/cdrecord: Permission denied. WARNING:
Cannot set priority using setpriority().
/usr/bin/X11/cdrecord: WARNING: This causes a high
risk for buffer underruns.
Error: Cannot gain SYS_RAWIO capability.Is cdrecord
installed SUID root?
: Operation not permitted

So I guess you should make sure that cdrecord is set
SUID root, and see if that helps.  Normally cdrecord
will give you some information about the media during
its run.
