[olug] reserved network access....

working on laptop that had camera software "sightspeed.exe" installed. 
It attempts to access internet. IP address it's accessing in the 
1.0.0.0/8 network which looks up as RESERVED by IANA.

pings of sightspeed.com return completely different network.

Anybody got any clues or seen similar behavior??
