might be... somewhat relavent ?
kind of looks like both daemons have some network transparency stuff
goin on, but I'm not entirely sure if any of them are a simple 'set
sound variable to use arts/esd on host:port'.
On a side, and more frightening note -- buy a super cheap audio (or
audio/video) switch box ? Push button non electric 4 device A/V
switches for game consoles and the like are typically around 10-15$
:). Not elegant, but functional.
