As for System76, if you like your money, I wouldn't buy from them.  They 
are way overpriced, Dell and IBM now offer Linux solutions.

Has anyone purchased from System76 or seen their hardware in the wild?  
I'm curious as to the quality of their laptops.

System76 sells PCs, laptops and servers with Ubuntu pre-installed.
Their stuff looks pretty good.
