Sure, let's get together and talk.
I've been a peak oil person for a long time. That is why computers and
computer control are so interesting. An acre around the house and five acres
near by have been purchased for resource control and placed under
permaculture. It gives plenty of wood and food (and quiet beauty) and dirt
and air and water. Since I have a chemical background, the automated
conversion of chipped wood to liquid fuel and of soil to aluminum (and other
metals) via carbochlorination and electrolysis is being pushed to give back
to the future. The Open Access movement for scientific and engineering papers
is being used to collect the background info needed to support the work.
The time will arrive this year to get an electric vehicle to get back and
forth from work now that the gasoline is running out. Hopefully, Coffeyville
will get back on line and the shortage will only be temporary, this time. The
100 watts of solar cells currently being used will power the router, hubs,
and cable modem in emergencies. Another 300 watts will be picked up to keep
the UPS charged for the main computer.
