I wouldn't be complaining as much. Just be thankful for what you get.
You could be in a remote portion of the country-side where the best
you could do would be ISDN for stability. Regarding cable services, I
was coming from St. Louis, and they barely offered 5M/512K and that
was for $60 residential. Their business class was worse, offering
3M/384K for $90.
So, my reaction to Cox's Omaha offering of 12M/1M for $56
residential.... SOLD! And, if I feel like upgrading to business-grade
service and I can justify the expense in whatever way, I will since
their speed offering is the same. It's not rocket science.
You'll just have to face facts and understand, there are businesses
that get it and do what's best for the customers, and then there are
businesses that do what's best for the business. In the long-run, they
tend to lose, albeit sometimes a lengthy process. You, the consumer
have the ability to let your voice be heard and make a difference.
It's how the game is played everywhere you go.
