Has anybody else noticed the lack of ssl when logging into OpenOffice.org?
Please vote for issue #26457.  Click on the following link and then vote for
this issue which takes you to another page which has to be submitted.

Examining the source for http://www.openoffice.org/servlets/Login?
The following http should be replaced with https:
<form id="loginform" action="http://www.openoffice.org/servlets/TLogin"
method="post">

However, port 443 at www.openoffice.org is closed, so a firewall may have to
be opened up and/or a service installed.
