[olug] Best Brand for Bootable USB Thumb Drives

Recently, i took another stab at making bootable USB thumbdrives and had
mixed luck.  Most would not work at all on any machine.  Some would work,
but only on some machines.  Since i need to buy a set of these, i would like
to stick to one brand that is known to work well. Anybody have a
recommendation on a brand that is known for being more boot compatible?
