I too vote Ubuntu. I've been using it in Virtual Machines and it is
completely easy to use. I installed it on a few PCs around the house
for HTPC purposes and for my 2 year old daughter to use. She already
knows how to say Ubuntu and how to launch Firefox to visit a couple of
websites.
