[olug] poor at perl

I'm currently getting this error running mythtv-status:


Net::UPnP::ControlPoint is not installed!

however, just used CPAN to install and I have a little script which 
searches @INC and returns:

/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/Net/UPnP/ControlPoint.pm
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/Net/UPnP/ControlPoint.pm
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/Net/UPnP/ControlPoint.pm

ls -l of file returns:
-r-xr-xr-x 1 root root 4998 2005-12-08 11:40 
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/Net/UPnP/ControlPoint.pm

There wasn't a "use Net::UPnP" in my calling script, so I added it (just 
in case it helped....no joy)

Anyone care to offer some thoughts or enlightenment??
