I recently got an Acer Aspire One with the 6cell battery and 160GB
hard drive. I'm running Ubuntu 8.10 and netbook-remix on it. I like
it quite a bit. Everything works - wireless is an atheros,
sleep/hibernate, webcam. It has a much larger screen than my nokia
770<g>. It came with a different OS but at 399 with the 6cell
battery, I happily deleted the installed OS<g>
I used powertop to help optimize battery life and I regularly do 5+
hours. I've never ran it completely out yet.
